PlateUp! Delivers ‘Fully Loaded’ Update

Tacos, Cranes and Leftover Bags Join PlateUp!

Bristol, United Kingdom — August 8, 2024 | Yogscast Games and developer It’s happening are

excited to announce a major update for their roguelike co-op cooking hit, PlateUp! The ‘Fully Loaded’ update offers players advanced building, the ability to make customers take their leftovers home and a new meal: The Taco!

After players have been calling for an easier way to change the kitchen layout, It’s happening have

called in the big guns! Or big cranes to be specific. This allows players greater flexibility when building their dream restaurant, as they can now call in a crane to help! Want that table elsewhere? Swing it over! Finding it hard to move your cooker, never fear, the crane is here to do all the heavy lifting for you!!

Alongside this, players will also have access to the ‘Dish Cabinet’, allowing them to make any main

dish they fancy instead of choosing from the pre-selected options on each level. This gives players a new found freedom to cook how they want and bring their own tasty creations to the masses! Speaking of food, it’s taco time! Tantalising tacos are a new dish that will revolutionise every PlateUp! restaurant. Made 4 at a time, players will need to make sure customers asking for 2 or 3 tacos don’t upset their carefully constructed taco conveyor belt!

But not everyone can finish their meal. Sometimes in PlateUp! their eyes are bigger than their belly!

Leftover bags are a new item players can offer customers so that they can take their unfinished meal with them and free up that table space!

Check out the latest trailer for a preview of the PlateUp! 'Fully Loaded' update:

PlateUp! blends classic co-op cooking and permanent roguelike progression, where players take

charge of a restaurant of their own creation. With a banquet of cuisine, equipment and layout

options, budding chefs can masterfully craft and compose the perfect restaurant, or watch it all go up in smoke like an overcooked omelette.

Complete with 4 player co-op, both online and locally, players can hire friends and family as allies in their culinary crusade. Designed to welcome pros and newcomers alike, anyone can throw on an apron and offer a helping hand.

PlateUp! has also received a number of important bug fixes and performance improvements,

ensuring players can cook up even more fun with a smoother, more reliable gameplay experience.

There has never been a better time to step into the kitchen and start an ever-evolving, and hopefully improving, culinary empire!

Download PlateUp! today on Nintendo Switch (£16.75/$19.99), PlayStation 4/5 (£15.99/$19.99) and

Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One (£16.74/$19.99) and with Xbox and PC Game Pass.
