Heartopia Party Mode Update Adds Hide & Seek, Parkour, And Much More

Heartopia Party Mode update available now

Shanghai, China — May 28, 2026 | XD Games is excited to announce that the latest Heartopia update goes live today, adding two new modes for players to enjoy with their friends: Hide & Seek Party and Parkour Party.

Hide & Seek Party allows players to host rounds of the classic children’s game in their Heartopia homes, with a magical twist. Up to twelve players split into two teams: the hiders, who have been possessed by an ethereal entity known as the Mysterious Grimkin; and the seekers, a group of Investigative Journalists who must track down and expose the mischievous phantoms.

The magical twist is that the hiders can morph into identical pieces of furniture in the house, blending in with the scenery and making them much harder to find. Investigative Journalists, meanwhile, are armed with a special camera called the Survey Drone, which they can use to photograph suspicious objects in order to reveal a Mysterious Grimkin.

Parkour Party allows players to transform their homes into elaborate obstacle courses using existing furniture sets, as well as new trap items available at both Bob’s furniture shop and the Research Lab starting today. Players are challenged to jump across platforms, avoid pitfalls, and get to the end as quickly as they can to climb the leaderboards.

In addition to the new modes, players can use the new Party Festival event system to join a public party outside their own town for the very first time. Players can also now join a town as a visitor, even if that town is already full.

The Kid-at-Heart Party event also begins on 28 May, rewarding players who complete Party Mode Update tasks with exclusive accessories and furniture.
